About the role

As a Social Media Executive, you will be responsible for developing and executing the social media strategy to build brand awareness, engage with our target audience, and build a strong organic base to help build a healthy user base. You will play a critical role in shaping our online presence and enhancing our reputation in the digital landscape.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Social Media Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the company's overall marketing and business goals. Identify key platforms and content types to maximize brand visibility and engagement. We are not looking for a one size fit all online strategy but a more tailored approach towards the different platforms available and how Oraan’s audience would respond to each.

  • Community Management: Monitor social media channels for comments, questions, and feedback. Engage with the audience, respond to inquiries, and manage both positive and negative interactions professionally and promptly. Maintain close coordination with the customer support and operations team to close the user feedback loop quickly.

  • Audience Growth: Develop and implement strategies to grow the company's social media followership and engagement. Utilize organic methods to reach and connect with the target audience. Reduce reliance on paid medium to grow the userbase

  • Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and manage social media campaigns, promotions, and contests. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure campaigns align with broader marketing initiatives. Collaborate with other stakeholders like ops, customer support, procurement and finance.

  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor social media analytics and generate regular reports on key performance metrics, such as engagement, reach, click-through rates, and conversion rates. Use data-driven insights to refine social media strategies.

  • Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in social media marketing. Implement new features, tools, and strategies to keep the brand at the forefront of social media innovation.

Entry Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing

  • Strong knowledge of major social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter).

  • Excellent writing and editing skills

  • Community management experience, including responding to comments and messages.

  • Ability to maintain brand consistency and voice across social media channels.

  • Time management and organizational skills for managing multiple accounts and campaigns

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Previous experience in social media management or marketing preferred
