Job Overview 

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer who will work as an integral part of our business Intelligence team, responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of data-driven solutions that empower informed decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with developers and stakeholders to gather requirements, design data models, and develop reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights.

Responsibilites

• Assist in analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical specifications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data sources, data structures, warehouse and business rules.
• Participate in designing and developing data models and databases to support BI solutions.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations using BI tools preferably Microsoft Power BI.
• Optimize existing Power BI reports for improved performance and usability.
• Work closely with users to gather requirements, prototype solutions, and refine deliverables.
• Integrate Power BI with various data sources, including databases, APIs, and other data repositories.
• Ensure the data accuracy, reliability, and performance of reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with data engineers and administrators to optimize ETL workflows and ensure data quality and integrity.
• Optimize and tune SQL queries and database performance for large-scale data sets.
• Provide technical support to users regarding BI tools, reports, and data-related inquiries.
• Monitor and troubleshoot BI solutions to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Maintaining and upgrading BI tools, applications, and infrastructure.
• Document technical specifications, data mappings, and development processes.
• Conduct training sessions to educate users on BI tools and best practices.

• Degree in Computer science, Information technology, or a related field.
• 4+ years eperience with BI tools and systems such as Power BI, Tableau.
• Prior experience in data-related tasks.
• Familiar with MS SQL Server BI Stack tools and technologies, such as SSRS and TSQL, Power Query, MDX, PowerBI, and DA.
• Knowledge of Power BI application security layer model.
• Proficient in doing advanced-level computations on the data set.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Power Bi certifications will be a plus.
