About The Role

The Tech Lead will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of our fintech products and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, extensive experience in building and leading high-performing engineering teams, and a passion for using technology to drive financial inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering team in the design, development, and deployment of our fintech products and services

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and operations, to define and execute the technical roadmap

• Establish and maintain engineering best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes

• Mentor and guide the engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement

• Manage the team’s resources effectively, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products and features

• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and identify opportunities for innovation and optimization

• Contribute to the overall strategy and direction of the company, providing technical insights and recommendations

• Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of our fintech platform and infrastructure

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• Minimum of 5 years of technical experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role

• Strong experience in building and leading high-performing engineering teams

• Proficiency in Django, React, and Flutter development frameworks

• Experience with DevOps practices and AWS infrastructure

• Deep understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile and Scrum

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

• Passion for using technology to drive financial inclusion and empower women

• Experience in the fintech industry or with financial services is a plus
