About The Role
The Tech Lead will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of our fintech products and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, extensive experience in building and leading high-performing engineering teams, and a passion for using technology to drive financial inclusion.
Responsibilities
Lead the engineering team in the design, development, and deployment of our fintech products and services
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and operations, to define and execute the technical roadmap
Establish and maintain engineering best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes
Mentor and guide the engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Manage the team’s resources effectively, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products and features
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and identify opportunities for innovation and optimization
Contribute to the overall strategy and direction of the company, providing technical insights and recommendations
Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of our fintech platform and infrastructure

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of technical experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
Strong experience in building and leading high-performing engineering teams
Proficiency in Django, React, and Flutter development frameworks
Experience with DevOps practices and AWS infrastructure
Deep understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile and Scrum
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Passion for using technology to drive financial inclusion and empower women
Experience in the fintech industry or with financial services is a plus
