About The Role

We are seeking a mid-level React Developer who will be responsible for developing and maintaining our fintech web applications using React. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in React development, experience in building and working with React teams, and a passion for creating user-friendly and responsive web interfaces. They should also possess the ability to break down business and product requirements into technical actions, guide and assist other React developers, and implement development best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain our fintech web applications using React and related technologies

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, backend developers, and product managers, to deliver high-quality frontend solutions

• Break down business and product requirements into technical tasks and actions

• Guide and assist other React developers in the team, providing mentorship and technical support

• Implement and promote development best practices, ensuring code quality, maintainability, and scalability

• Implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces, ensuring optimal performance and user experience

• Write clean, modular, and reusable code, following best practices and coding standards

• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members

• Troubleshoot and debug frontend issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on user experience

• Stay up-to-date with emerging frontend technologies and industry trends, and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation

• Contribute to the overall frontend architecture and design decisions, providing technical insights and recommendations

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• Minimum of 3 years of technical experience in web development, with at least 2 years focused on React

• Strong proficiency in React, Redux, and related libraries and tools

• Experience in building and working with React development teams

• Ability to break down business and product requirements into technical tasks and actions

• Experience in guiding and assisting other React developers, providing mentorship and technical support

• Knowledge of development best practices, including code quality, maintainability, and scalability

• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+)

• Familiarity with responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility

• Knowledge of frontend testing frameworks, such as Jest or Enzyme

• Experience with version control systems, such as Git

• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Passion for creating user-friendly and accessible web interfaces

• Experience in the fintech industry or with financial services is a plus
